If I had answers, maybe I'd buy some plugs from him or some other LF4 product he markets. I'm interested to know a few basics like what spark plug Scott recommends of why I need to use diaeletric grease as he suggests. Scott is a good guy and will go out of his way to help. I respectfully stated we should respect his time and not expect, or ask, him to provide all his research. He's not basing his choices on what may have worked on a ZO6 or some other car that he used to have. In this case, I used Brisk racing plugs from Tapout, and we chose the 'coldest' as I'm running lots of boost and plan to crank it up even more. ![]() On that 1st pull, we noticed a cluster of misfires.īoth Scott Tapout and Blackdog's in-house tuner HIGHLY recommended switching to non-projected spark plugs. Last week, I attempted a "baseline" dyno pull to see where I am at.
